It was so fun to run the 5k turkey trot on thanksgiving day! The chocolate part comes at the end when you get a…chocolate turkey! It was a pretty run along the Illinois river in Peoria. And flat!! I loved that part! Relatively no hills to run 🙂
It was cold! But I’d rather run in cold than warm.
Our boys, Trish, and Jenna all ran ahead but we stuck together!! It was so fun to run with Skye…laughing and linking arms half of the time. I need to treasure this because I know it won’t last…she’ll get faster than me as she grows …which, who wouldn’t? I’m v e r y s l o w !!
