Here are my open shelves as they are now. When we moved in 12 years ago they were covered with annoying shutter style white doors that pinched children’s fingers and took up a lot of space. I was so happy to take the doors off and it’s fun to rearrange and decorate the shelves.
Here is how it all looked years ago. Notice the old white linoleum!! The old baseboards, the sparse decor. I like it a lot better now; more lived in, more functional, but still pretty. (Maybe cluttered, fine. But I like clutter 😜)
More views of the kitchen. What a difference the new floor makes. We got that done 2ish years ago. Wil helped put it in along with our friend Rolando. I’m thankful everyday for that beautiful bamboo floor!
I’ve been able to collect a bunch of the pioneer woman dishes. So pretty! Most of the flowered bowls and tin canisters are hers.
My photo backdrop! Come over and get your picture taken 😂 I saw this lettering on detailgalblog.com (via Pinterest) and copied it.
I’ve already convinced several people to pose 😍
p.s. we have a lot more cupboard space in the kitchen, so I just use that for actual pantry items.
Love it! Can’t wait to get there!

I love your kitchen! It makes me happy! We love Pioneer Woman dishes, too. I’ve given Becca her everyday dishes (that we all get to use now) from PW. We love her recipes, too!
