Brussels sprout leaves!!

Cut the sprouts in half and pull the leaves off.

Sprinkle with olive oil, salt, pepper, and maple syrup

Put on parchment paper and cook at 350* for …ummmm….I think it was around 15 min…I just watch it real close because they start burning quick!

But you want some brown parts. Just not too much brown 🙂 mmmm these are crunchy and good!

Becca and I make brussel sprouts like this but we don’t pull the leaves off (we keep it whole except for the stem). They are soooo good! Maybe if we pull of the leaves and there is less brussel sprout to contend with at one time, the rest of the family will eat them, too!

I know what you mean, I’ve always ate the whole sprout minus stem, and I love the outer crispy layers and put up with the middle part, so this was a way of trying to make it all crispy!!
