It’s just so neat to see how God works things out. We went down to see Wes again at school in October. If we hadn’t have gone we would not have seen Gigi that last time. She was doing well at the beginning of the week, and by the time we got there, she had had a mini stroke and was in decline.
Wes told us about Maple Street Biscuit Co…it was so amazingly delicious. Now between Biscuit Head and here we are set for life! I got the biscuit featured on Food Network with the chicken, goat cheese, and pepper jelly. It was so good. It’s the one pictured above sitting in the pool of pepper jelly!
At one point in the weekend we went to Tropical Grill to eat, then saw this cute wall…one thing led to another and we were able to get a fun photo shoot with the grandparents! (One thing meaning I begged everyone to get out and have a mini photo shoot🤣)
We had a bonfire at Barb and Jon’s which was fun too.
A drive to the mountains and brunch for crepes at Tandem rounded out the very sweet few days.
So thankful for the time with Gigi and Pops, Granna and Popppop, Wes, uncle Jon and Aunt Barbie.
