An apple a day shouldn’t be too hard! And I almost did it, except when I cheated and took extra pictures some days and now I have 11 pictures of apples on January 11!

Inspired by the painting called The Son of Man, you know the one…where the man is standing there in a bowler hat with an apple in front of his face?!

The artist of that iconic painting, Rene Magritte, painted it as a self portrait, and said we don’t ever show all of ourselves or our true self. Hence the apple partially covering the face.

Anyway, I just thought it was fun, nothing real serious or deep, just pictures of apples when I remember to eat them.

Might be fun to take an apple picture every single day of the year!? Or draw an apple, decorate an apple….make apple desserts?! 😉

Apples are the best! I need to needle felt an apple!
