Arizona Trip 🌵[day one]

We went to Arizona for a family trip/Wil’s senior trip. We started the tradition when Wes was a senior and went to Vashon Island, Seattle, and Montana. So this time we stayed in Sedona, Arizona, which we LOVED, and also visited the Grand Canyon. Sedona is gorgeous and spectacular. I am trying to narrow down the 400 pictures we took collectively! So we will start with day one.

We left this past Monday …had a bumpy flight to Phoenix, got to the rental car place and there was our white Jeep- ready to cruise, but no ….just kidding, we rented a perfectly serviceable mini van😄 Our friends know I love a good mini van.

Phoenix was interesting. I loved that you could see palm trees and a cactus side by side. We enjoyed the Dutch Bros coffee and Whataburger.

On the road to Sedona

The cacti was Amazing! I can’t wait to draw, paint, felt, and make a cake inspired by these beautiful plants. 🌵🌿

our first glimpse of the mountains in Sedona, and our first look at our Airbnb.

The house was so perfect. The views were amazing….

The hot tub! It got chilly in the evening and mornings, so the hot tub was nice.

One of my favorite things about this house was the artwork. The photography and wall hangings were inspiring.

So thankful for our time together…and for God’s A M A Z I N G artistry and creativity. We were so inspired and refreshed. Thank you for taking this journey with us! Day 2 will be brought to you by the letter H; hiking, hot air balloons, and heights!
