I love how versatile this wall is with the chalkboard paint. I love to change it up for seasons.

And I love cookbooks!! I have a bunch that I’ve gotten as gifts and a bunch from goodwill – I went to Walmart to shop and had a little Christmas money, so when I saw Drew Barrymore’s new cookbook (bottom right) and how creative it is, I scooped it up. Oh my goodness…wait til you see what I saw:

This photo of Drew in her kitchen!!! I KNEW…as soon as I saw this, I KNEW…and it’s like I’ve known it all along and didn’t know I knew (🤣) I HAD to have shelves showcasing and displaying my cookbooks ….

So I started off with the cookbooks I had on hand that were pretty…plus a few of those were library books I had at the time…so then it was time to go to the library again and I went looking for new cookbooks that looked good and that were pretty!

When I got home I switched a few out for the new library cook books. I’m ecstatic about these shelves…I can put other books, plates, artwork…the sky is the limit…this makes me so happy.

I’m thinking about painting the chest of drawers…speaking of, the cloth napkin drawer got a makeover!

How long do you think it will stay this neat?!

One more, I can’t help it, I love the new shelves (they’re from Walmart too🤣) and I’ll leave you with the motto of my kitchen (and possibly my life): more is more!
I have so many things I need to blog about! Hopefully this is the start of regular blogging and staying up to date! What are you excited about in this new year?
Feeling rather “blah” these days and can’t find inspiration…until now. Today’s post really got my creative juices flowing and I am excited to start thinking about implementing some of the fabulous ideas I’ve seen. Happy New Year!
